The Writer's Cabin
The quietest thing on the farm. A compact cabin for two with a balcony, a private bathroom, a desk that works, and reliable wifi — built for people who came here to finish something.

The place
Set on the farm by the Kabani, the cabin is placed for a full nature experience and sized for a couple. Air-conditioned, one room, a balcony, a private bathroom, a mini fridge, a kettle and hot water.
Around it we grow coffee, pepper, nutmeg, areca, coconut, other spices, vegetables, fruit and rice. Across the road is the 300-acre paddy collective — walk those fields and the village pathways along the river and you get the real texture of Wayanad.
The cabin sits within a fenced two-acre farm, which is a longer way of saying you can stop thinking about it.

Walks along the Kabani
A gate at the end of the farm opens onto the bank. From there the walkways run along the water for as long as you want them to.
The paddy collective
Three hundred acres of paddy farmed collectively, right across the road. Walking through it and meeting the villages that work it is the most honest thing you can do in Wayanad.
Around the farm
Coffee, pepper, nutmeg, areca, coconut and a long list of other spices grow here. Ask, and someone will walk you through it and show you what each one looks like on the tree.
Campfire after dark
A chill settles over the farm in the evening. The firepit is the reason nobody goes inside.

A beautiful, cozy cabin nestled in the woods — tastefully designed with great attention to detail. As a solo female traveler, I found it absolutely perfect. Despite being in a remote forested area, I felt completely safe and comfortable throughout my stay. The wifi was reliable, which made it easy for me to work remotely.
Ancy
A cozy riverside cabin surrounded by trees all around. The cabin was super comfortable and the view from the balcony is breathtaking. From check-in to check-out, everything went smoothly. As a pleasant surprise, breakfast was included every day of my stay and was delicious.
Utkarsh
We stayed here for five days, and it was an incredibly peaceful and rejuvenating experience. The hosts, their parents, and Albin, who coordinated everything, were exceptionally kind and welcoming. Their hospitality made us feel right at home.

The place was so beautiful, cozy and serene with very reasonably priced home food as well as great local cuisine nearby. Albin helped arrange local transport and offered guidance on local spots. Definitely recommend this beautiful stay.
