The place
Waterfront is a cottage built up among the trees, with excellent views and very little between you and the Kabani. It suits couples and small families who want the river more than they want square footage.
The two-acre mixed farm around it grows coffee, pepper, nutmeg, areca, coconut, other spices, vegetables and rice. Right across from us is a 300-acre paddy farming collective, and walking through those fields is the quickest way to understand how Wayanad actually lives.
There is no television here, on purpose. Guests asked for a pure nature experience, so that is what was built.

While you're here
Walks along the Kabani
A gate at the end of the farm opens onto the bank. From there the walkways run along the water for as long as you want them to.
The paddy collective
Three hundred acres of paddy farmed collectively, right across the road. Walking through it and meeting the villages that work it is the most honest thing you can do in Wayanad.
Around the farm
Coffee, pepper, nutmeg, areca, coconut and a long list of other spices grow here. Ask, and someone will walk you through it and show you what each one looks like on the tree.
Campfire after dark
A chill settles over the farm in the evening. The firepit is the reason nobody goes inside.

Great place in the midst of an estate filled with flora and fauna. Like you legit feel like you have just been dropped off in the middle of a forest. Special shoutout to the amazing and accommodative staff and manager. Will definitely be back soon.

The treehouse itself is beautiful and unique. The hosts are extremely welcoming and kind. During our garden tour, uncle showed us fresh coffee, cardamom, nutmeg and many other spices growing on the trees, which was such a special experience. They even gave us fresh jackfruit from their garden and a few spices.

The property is beautiful, but what made our stay truly special was the incredible hospitality. The caretaker, Albin, took fantastic care of us and made sure we had everything we needed. To top it all off, the food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommended for a peaceful getaway.
