The place
Lazyblue is an A-frame built for a very specific pleasure: waking up in a loft with the forest pressed against the glass. The ground floor holds the living space and a large bathroom; the loft above sleeps four across two queen mattresses.
Step onto the private balcony and into an outdoor bathtub with the trees all around you. The tub sits out in the sun and weather, so its colour has faded a little — that is cosmetic, nothing more.
The pool is outdoors, under a dense canopy, shaded for most of the day. Peacocks call across the property from morning on.

- No food or drink inside the pool.
- Pets are welcome with prior approval from the owner.
- Guests clean up after their pets, and linen is never used for pet cleaning.
- Footwear is removed before entering the house.
- Switch off lights, fans and air conditioning when you step out.
- The farm and everything growing on it are private. Please ask before picking.
- Bottled drinking water is not provided; filtered water is.
- Housekeeping runs once every two days, between 11:00 am and 5:00 pm.
- Breakfast is served 8:30–10:00 am. Lunch orders by 11:00 am, dinner orders by 3:00 pm.
- Campfire ₹800 per hour. Barbecue setup ₹800 for two hours, plus the cost of what you grill.
- Exterior cameras cover the front and back of the cabin.
- There is no smoke alarm. A carbon monoxide alarm is not required — everything here runs on electricity.
- Large cars will find the small bridge on the approach tight, and the last 100–200 m of road is rough.

Walks along the Kabani
A gate at the end of the farm opens onto the bank. From there the walkways run along the water for as long as you want them to.
The paddy collective
Three hundred acres of paddy farmed collectively, right across the road. Walking through it and meeting the villages that work it is the most honest thing you can do in Wayanad.
Around the farm
Coffee, pepper, nutmeg, areca, coconut and a long list of other spices grow here. Ask, and someone will walk you through it and show you what each one looks like on the tree.
Campfire after dark
A chill settles over the farm in the evening. The firepit is the reason nobody goes inside.

Nestled in the heart of nature, the cozy treehouse-style stay was a perfect escape from city life. The bedroom loft with a triangular window overlooking the trees was a dream. Sipping coffee on the balcony, soaking in the outdoor tub with a drink in hand, and watching the sunset over the fields added so much charm to the stay.

Perfect for a couple or a small group of friends who want to unwind over the weekend. You can hear peacocks chirping throughout the day, which adds to the calm and natural vibe. The pool and bathtub are beautifully maintained. A short walk around the property lets you see a lovely river flowing nearby.

We had a great stay with my one year old baby and fur baby — a beagle. The place is very clean and all amenities were there. The stay, pool, cleanliness, responsiveness, everything was great. Would recommend you check out this place for a peaceful getaway.

Everything was clean and the beds, small hot tub, bathroom, pool and balcony were as shown in the pictures. The manager Albin was very helpful and friendly. They suggested local places to visit and helped me arrange whatever I needed to surprise my partner for her birthday. The pool was great and the place is extremely peaceful.
